Symptoms of PPH/PAH?
At first, the symptoms of PPH/PAH are often minor and may include:
- Shortness of breath, following physical work or exercise
- Chest pain
- Extreme tiredness
- Fainting spells, dizziness or weakness
- Ankle or leg swelling
- Bluish skin, lips
- Fast pulse
- Strong feeling of a fast heartbeat
Over time, the heart weakens and physical energy decreases. Eventually a PPH patient may be able to do little activity and experience symptoms even while resting.
